Bjellands Fiskeboller has a long history as a traditional quality food that has been served in Norwegian homes for over 100 years. Bjellands Fiskeboller are tasty and nutritious fish balls that contain little fat and are a good source of protein.
    Chr. Bjelland & Co was established in Stavanger as early as 1882 by Christian Bjelland, and the company quickly developed into Scandinavia's leading canning company. By 1927, the cannery had grown into an industrial group with 2,500 employees and exported products to balances in the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States. The group includes 17 canneries with an annual export of 50 million boxes of sardines and kippers, a large paper and tin printing plant, and a fleet of 8 steamers and 14 motor vehicles. Chr. Bjelland & Co. was the largest Norwegian fishing boat company at the time.
